Meeting called to order by Austin Sumner chair at 6:40 p.m.

ITEM / DISCUSSION / ACTION
1.  Approval of Agenda and Minutes of Prior Meeting / Caroline made a motion to approve the agenda as is. Mary 2nded the motion. All in favor.
Mary made a motion to amend the minutes from March 2015 to add Burlington Electric’s application on pesticide use and include the time frame in which the use of pesticides will take place. Caroline 2nded the motion. All in favor.

3.  Synthetic Turf Athletic Field Safety / The board had a discussion about synthetic turf athletic field safety. The discussion included various news reports citing multiple studies but there are no apparent conclusions at this point.

Decision to push back the distribution date of HLHL fliers to May 1 in North Avenue News. Austin raised concerns that the current budget would not be enough for the public outreach.

Verbal report from Caroline Tassey / Julie made a motion to add $250 to the $1,000 HLHL advertising budget for Spring lawn care tips insert. Funds will cover extra costs for printing. Full budget will be used to print 4,800 inserts plus extras. Mary 2nded the motion. All in favor.
