Reminder: To increase relevance and retention, include real-world applications (a great source is in NCTM publications and websites), graphing calculators or Geometer’s sketchpad. Also, all tests are cumulative. For example, the Chapter 7 Review and Test should include important problems from Chapters 1-6. Research indicates that this practices improves retention and recall. Also review algebra, especially equation-solving and factoring.
