Marketing Mix Table

In this unit you learned that a product’s marketing mix is a marketing strategy crucial its business success. Using the 4 P’s, we have learned to understand marketing mix.

Remember, the 4 P’s are Price, Product, Promotion and Place. But before we become business tycoons and create new products, we need to practice our 4 P’s. So, let’s create a graphic organizer. Follow these instructions to create your graphic organizer.

1. Choose a product advertisement from a magazine (cannot be a cell phone)

2. Change the Page Orientation and Margins as listed below

3. Create in Word a 2x3 table in Word

4. Merge the top two rows

5. Identify your product and define your Target Market in the top row.

6. List 3 bullet items that detail product strategy on Product.

7. List 3 bullet items that detail product strategy on Price.

8. List 3 bullet items that detail product strategy on Place.

9. List 3 bullet items that detail product strategy on Promotion.

10. Your TABLE should also include 4 pictures that illustrate your product, price, place, and promotion

Formatting Requirements:

1. Orientation: Landscape

2. Margins: Narrow

3. Title (name of product): Font Size 28, apply Text Effects or Word Art

4. 2 x 3 Table: Centered on the page with Borders (Table Text Shouldn’t be Centered)

5. Titles in the table: Font Size:20

6. Use bullets for details. You must use a Symbol for the bullets. Bulleted text should be between 14 and 18pt font

7. Insert one picture in each cell, Wrap Text: Tight, resize picture appropriately and place appropriately in each cell.

8. Add a header, right aligned with your name. Set header from top to 0.3”

9. Add a color to the background of the table (or more than one)

10. Save as a PDF and upload both the Word Doc and PDF to Schoology
