Macbeth Literary Scrapbook

Directions:

Now that you are acquainted with the characters of the play, you will choose one of them, and create a literary scrapbook. You will have time in class to work on this assignment, but you will also have to use your outside time as well. After choosing a character, you will begin to collect/create items of memorabilia, such as notes and letters, pictures, keepsakes, symbols, journals, etc. This scrapbook will demonstrate your in-depth understanding of the character, and the conflicts and themes that pertain to him/her throughout the play. You must start bringing your album (either store-bought or made) and materials to class by the end of the week.

Requirements:

Album with a unique cover that you design.

Collage of pictures of your character (may include other characters) with captions (8-10).

Two letters to another character (1 page long each).

Two journal entries that pertain to a problem/conflict in the play (1 page long each).

3 symbols that represent the character and the conflicts they experience, with explanations (1 paragraph each).
