Old Business:

Updated “Business Rules for FSS Optional Prep” were reviewed.

Clarification of items/questions from previous meeting(s) were addressed.

USPS owes decision/clarification on:

  1. What to do with bundles where all the mail for a sort scheme meets the necessary 10 or 6 piece minimums for rate qualification, but there is not enough mail to create at least one 3” bundle?
  2. Is the FSS Optional Preparation able to be applied to a portion of a mailing and not applied to other portions of a mailing?
  3. Will there be a threshold on the amount of non-automation mail allowed in FSS Optional Prep?

Optional Endorsement Line is required for FSS Optional Prep (defined in Business Rules).

Are the FSS scheme pallet and FSS facility pallet optional or required under the optional FSS preparation .

New Business:

Shawn Baldwin, Ruth Stock and Anita Singh will be meeting to discuss Anita’s testing the FSS Optional Prep.
