Looking to Steal a Lastname…a Search for MY True LOVE!
My name is Kellie McCleve, I am athletic, outgoing, always up for an adventure, and make a great dinner. I first fell in love when I was 16 years old to my high school sweetheart for 3 and a half years and had the best years of my life. Of course all good things come to an end and I am on the journey to find the man that will steal my heart so I can steal his last name!

Time to Shine...

I am fascinated by love. Since I was very young I always dreamed of the ultimate wedding and the man of my dreams. All I am in search for is my happily ever after…however after having my cousin Rilus Dana go through the nastiest divorce I have definitely put up walls when it comes to dating and falling in love. How can you be so sure someone truly loves you and is always going to feel that way and stay loyal for the entire marriage? These questions come to mind after watching Rilus be married for 10 years and having three children and then have his wife be living his lie that’s been going on for years. I question did she ever really love him. I sometimes think maybe the relationship was more built on the idea of being married and there was never any true love. Steven Hardy, a relationship talk-show host, gives this great advice when it comes to falling in love and dating, “All I'm telling you to do is to be smart about it. Know that if this man isn't looking for a serious relationship, you're not going to change his mind just because you two are going on dates and being intimate. You could be the most perfect woman on the Lord's green earth-you're capable of interesting conversation, you cook a mean breakfast, you hand out backrubs like sandwiches, you're independent (which means, to him, that you're not going to be in his pockets)-but if he's not ready for a serious relationship, he going to treat you like sports fish.” I guess being the perfect girl doesn’t matter if you’re with the wrong man. I just want my prince charming to walk into my life, but after seeing a disaster marriage I know it’s worth the wait and not rush any relationships just let them simmer.

Making Sure HE is Mr. RIGHT!
November 4, 2013
As I have begun to get older marriage is on the radar. I am not looking to get married any time soon but if Mr. Right comes along I would not be opposed to starting a life with someone. There are a few keys things though I am looking for in Mr. Right. A man who is driven, educated, has a passion for success, and of course someone who adores me. Success for an individual is the beginning steps for a successful marriage I believe. Love takes a lot of work and giving and taking between two people. I love the words by Shannon L. Alder, “If he can't handle you at your worst then he does not deserve you at your best. Real love means seeing beyond the words spoken out of pain and instead seeing a person's soul.” Loving someone unconditionally and seeing them for all of who they are instead of their short coming is what makes a relationship stronger and one that lasts forever.
