*Anthony DePaulo Memorial Scholarship- This will be open to any senior who is a

resident of and member in good standing of Woodland Hills H.S. The award

must be used for tuition or expenses for post-high school study. This includes

community college, trade or technical school two-year and four-year colleges.

Deadline for application is March 27th.

*Braddock Senior High School Class of 1958 Scholarship Fund – This award will be

open to any senior in good standing and who has resided continuously in Braddock Borough while attending Woodland Hills High School grades 10 through 12. Deadline for application is March 27th.

*Churchill Area Environmental Council Graduation Award – Any senior who has made a

significant contribution to environmental conservation, education, legislation or

research – particularly within the school district or it’s communities. Deadline for application is March 27th.

*Darcy Lynne Herman Scholarship – The purpose of this award is to provide post-high

school assistance to those who will improve our society through scholarship and

service. Student MUST have taken at least 1 AP Math or Science course and

an AP English course. Two scholarships may be awarded. Deadline for

application is March 27th.

*Don Wukich Scholarship – One scholarship will be awarded to a male student. The recipient is chosen based on his academic and athletic accomplishments and how he represented Woodland Hills during his four years in high school. Deadline for application is March 27.

*Jeff Wagner Memorial Scholarship – This scholarship seeks to recognize a student who

exemplifies the mission of the Jeff Wagner Memorial Fund. Applicants should be

an active volunteer in the Woodland Hills Community. Special consideration will

be given to any student who volunteers for a local fire company or serves as an

EMT. Deadline for application is March 27th.

*Jewish War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary 718 Health Professions Scholarship – This is

for students entering the Nursing profession. Deadline for application is

March 27th.

*Judge William G. Hawkins, Jr. Scholarship – This is for an outstanding student who

will be attending a college or university. Deadline for application is March 27th .

*Julia Anne McCool Memorial Scholarship - Open to all seniors

who will graduate in 2013 from Woodland Hills High School and who will

continue their education in music, art, performance, liberal arts, or the humanities.

Preference will be given to those continuing their education in music or art.

Deadline for application is March 27th.

*Medal of Honor Scholarship – This scholarship honors Congressional Medal of Honor

Recipients and is open to any high school senior who is a resident of East

Allegheny and Woodland Hills School District. Students must be planning to

Attend a four-year or community college. Deadline for application is TBD

*Pamela Bergamasco Memorial Scholarship-This scholarship will be awarded to a

graduating senior of the Woodland Hills School District who will be majoring in

Elementary Education. The candidate should be in good academic standing, had

overcome challenges and have a financial need. Application deadline is March 27th.

*Raymond Calfo Memorial Scholarship- This scholarship will be awarded to a Woodland

Hills School District graduating senior who will be majoring in engineering, math

or science. The award must be applied toward tuition or expenses for a four year

college. Application deadline is March 27th.

*School Nurse Scholarship- The Woodland Hills School District Nurses are awarding a

scholarship to a 2013 graduating senior who is pursuing a career in the nursing/medical

profession . Applicant must have a 3.00 GPA. Deadline for application is March 27th.

*Slava Silan Mohler Scholarship – This is for those students who will be attending a

four-year college/university. Deadline for application is March 27th.

*Junior High Scholarship – The teachers, staff members and administrators of the

Junior High are offering two scholarships to seniors who are planning to attend

a two or four year post-secondary school. Deadline for application is March 27.

*Woodland Hills Foundation Senior Scholarship – Open to all seniors who will graduate

in 2013 from Woodland Hills High School and who will continue their education in a vocational, technical or (non 4 year) educational program that awards a diploma, certificate or Associate Degree upon completion. (e.g. nursing, computer, technical, business, culinary, trade schools, community or junior colleges.) Deadline for application is March 27th.

*Woodland Hills Foundation and Class of 1990 Debbie Spahr Thames Memorial Scholarship

Open to all seniors who will graduate in 2013 from Woodland Hills High School and who will continue their education in a vocational, technical or (non 4-year)

educational program for health care professions that has a diploma, certificate, or

Associate Degree upon completion (e.g. nursing, trade schools, community or junior colleges) Deadline for application is March 27th.

*Woodland Hills Foundation 2013 Hospital Albert Schweitzer Scholarship

Open to all seniors who will graduate in 2013 from Woodland Hills High School and who will continue their education in a 4-year educational program for health care or service professions that grants a Bachelor’s degree or higher upon completion. Deadline for application is March 27th.

*Woodland Hills Academic Fund Scholarship (School Board Directors Scholarship)

The Woodland Hills School District Board of Directors has designated one scholarship to be given to honor the memory of District students, staff and Board

Directors who have died. Deadline for application is March 27th.

*Woodland Hills Education Association (W.H.E.A.) Scholarships- These scholarships

are for those students who are planning on attending a college or other post-

secondary institution and majoring in Education. Deadline for applications is March 27th.

*These scholarships are available ONLY to seniors who are residents of Woodland Hills School District and members in good standing at Woodland Hills High School and will be awarded at the Academic Honors Banquet on Monday, May 6, 2013 .
