Pre Apprenticeship Course for Bricklaying and Carpentry

Western Sydney Institute TAFE is partnering with Apprenticeship Careers Australia to run pre apprenticeship courses in Bricklaying and Carpentry. Both these courses include work experience.

Bricklaying course starts on the 18th April 2016 and runs for 6 weeks.

Carpentry course starts on the 12th May 2016 and runs for 6 weeks.

My First Lesson: Short Story Competition

Students in years 9 to 12 are invited to read a chapter from Alice Pung’s new novel Laurinda and write a short story of no more than 1000 words on the theme of “a high school story”. The student stories will be compiled into a new book and published later 2016.
