Gender equality and non-discrimination: experiences and opportunities from the implementation of EU structural funds investments

The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania is hosting a conference “Gender equality and non-discrimination: experiences and opportunities from the implementation of EU structural funds investments” to present the results of the Evaluation of the impact of EU structural assistance on the implementation of the horizontal priority “gender equality and non-discrimination”. PPMI Group carried out this evaluation, commissioned by the Ministry of Finance. The conference will discuss the implementation of gender equality and non-discrimination in Lithuania and other countries. The presenters include experts from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland, as well as representatives of EU and Lithuanian institutions. The languages of the conference are Lithuanian and English, with simultaneous interpretation.
Gender equality and non-discrimination were compulsory principles during the programming period of 2007-2013. They will remain obligatory during the next programming period, thus, institutions taking part in the implementation of EU structural assistance, current and potential project managers will benefit from learning from the lessons and good practices of the current programming period.
The Ministry of Finance cordially invites members of the Evaluation Coordination Group, the Monitoring Committee, representatives of other institutions responsible for the implementation and evaluation of EU structural funds, NGOs, project managers, members of the academic community and other experts with an interest in gender equality and non-discrimination to take part.
