Lenten Rosary (After Stations of Cross)

The last parish Lenten Stations of the Cross will take place on Fri, April 7. The K of C Council leader for the follow-on rosary is Brother Jim Delaney.

Please plan on attending this final Stations of the Cross and rosary as a fitting preparation for Holy Week.

The Officers and Directors of the Council wish all Brother Knights and their families a Blessed and Holy Easter Day!

Parking at Easter Masses

Our Council traditionally helps the Parish Maintenance Director, Brother Earl Videan with directing parishioners where to park for Mass. This year’s English language Easter Masses are at 8 AM and 10:30 AM. You will need to arrive on-site 45 minutes prior to the start of Mass. You will be issued a colored safety vest to wear. You will be able to attend the Mass at the start of which you have been directing traffic. The parish and Council thank you for your assistance!

Knight of Year:

Bob Gagne was selected as this year’s “Knight of the Year”. Bob initiated the Council’s Rosary Rack Project over a decade ago. From its unchanged location in the church hallway it has dispensed over 4,000 rosaries! Bob’s article about the Rosary Rack which appeared in the Columbia magazine a few years back saw numerous inquiries of interest from near and far and has resulted in its duplication at other Councils and parishes. The Blessed Virgin must be most pleased with Bob’s idea. Bob has served as the Council’s Financial Secretary and Treasurer. He was a Charter Member of the Parish Columbarium Committee and also the long-serving editor of the parish newsletter. Bob has also served for years as the Safety Coordinator for the association of Carolina Forest communities. Well done and congratulations, Brother Bob.
