Meeting Opening – 10 minutes

1)  Welcome members in attendance - None

2)  Approval of last meetings minutes. – Add to July meeting minutes that these were interpreted by Heather Price’s Notes. Moved by Cedric Shanks seconded by Dwayne Craft

Finance and Budget – 10 minutes

1)  Status Update - See Balance Sheet from Mike Moeller.

2)  Review Financial Report - See attached Balance Sheet. Everything is current as of August 15th. General Account was attempted to be reconciled but not completed in May. Other accounts had not been reconciled since December of 2010. Numbers were inaccurate and we can not do comparison from last year. Mike Moeller gave the board a quick review of how the Income/Expense reports are set up. Board Members are asked to take home Budget to go over to make sure that we are clear on all aspects of the budget. General Ledger will be left in main back office for Board Members.

Updates/Review/Old Business/New Business – 50 minutes

1)  Human Resources Committee

A.) Membership Review Committee – Dues increase: Committee will need to meet a couple of times in September. The special committee members are Cedric Shanks, Monte Williams, Russ Scott, Brian Bell, Mark Goss, Craig Braseth, Ron Arritola and Don McAndie. Surveys will be done in order to get input from our membership.

2)  House Committee - Wireless internet will now be offered to our membership while they are in the clubhouse. The information will be provided in The Divot and Don McAndie will get frames for the signs for upstairs and downstairs with the password. Bar Inventory has been taken and is up to date. Grease trap needs to be emptied. Don McAndie will assign this to an employee. Need to look at getting better speakers for upstairs. It was very difficult to hear at the McDonald’s Tournament.

a)  Security – All locks and codes have been changed. Cody and Chuck will sign off on all time cards.

3) Green’s Report: See Attached Report. Need to communicate better with our membership through monthly President’s report or Newsletter/Divot educating our membership about conditions on the course and what we can do to help improve the conditions of our course.

No Pro’s Report Tonight – Cody Goodan not present at Board Meeting. The Two Man Best Ball sponsored by Frontier Motors is coming up this weekend. There are currently 20-30 teams signed up. Alan Keffer brought up that for the McDonald’s Tournament that the Senior Division played from the yellow/black and the woman played from white/yellow. Bill Anhorn mentioned that the Seniors knew that if they played in the Senior Division they did not qualify for “The Sole Survivor”. Don McAndie explained how the handicapping is done from each division. Tournament Committee will review the policy to make it equitable for all flights. Cody will give us a written time line by the next Board Meeting

3)  Social/Membership Committee

A.) Upcoming Events – Black and White will be moved to November.

B.) Newsletter – A sample newsletter was distributed and discussion among the board is to move forward with The Divot. Craig Braseth and Don McAndie will talk to Cody Goodan regarding The Divot and inform Brita Scott if she is to proceed.

C.) Yearbook – Brita Scott distributed a sample of the Yearbook to the Board. The Yearbook will be printed and mailed out the beginning of September.

4)  Ladies Organization – Craig Braseth thanked the ladies for all of their hard work at the Mc Donald’s Tournament. The decorations were fabulous and the Ladies did an excellent job with food. Stagette was moved to September 28th.
