Job Title: Customer Service and Trading Sales Arranger
Job Scale and Hours: Scale 3, (£15,882 - £16,998) 37 hours per week with flexible working
AGE UK COVENTRY Purpose: To promote the well being of all older people living in and around Coventry and to help make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
Job & Trading Team Purpose: To raise funds for AGE UK COVENTRY’s work, via selling Trading Services and Products specifically developed to meet the needs of older people.
Responsible to: Trading Team Sales Manager
Responsibilities
A member of staff performing this role:
1. Shall be competent to perform their role.
2. Shall remain competent to perform their role.
3. Shall undergo a regular review of their competence.
4. Shall accept appropriate supervision based on their skill and knowledge levels
Key Skills and Abilities
1. Works effectively and efficiently with others within a small team.
2. Good customer service skills
3. Understands the needs of older people and can relate well with and empathise with older people.
4. Good interpersonal communication skills, both face to face and on the telephone.
5. Able to use a computer. (Training on Age UK Coventry quote system will be provided.)
6. Professional approach combined with an open, honest, trustworthy, friendly relaxed style coupled with personal drive and enthusiasm to achieve team goals.
Key Tasks
To work competently and compliantly within the Limits of Authority and:-
1. Introduce Age UK Coventry Products and Services to customers
2. Accurately complete all administration and documentation in accordance with the AUKEnt procedures and service standards
3. Provide product information to customers to enable them to make an informed choice
4. Close the sale
5. Abide by the Codes of Conduct, Rules and Guidelines as issued by AUKEnt
6. Undertake personal development as agreed between the role holder and their supervisor.
7. To have a flexible approach to working hours to provide cover for holidays and illness
8. To work as part of a team and undertake other duties as reasonable required by AGE UK COVENTRY
