BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Dr. Al-Sahili has a bachelor, master, and doctoral degrees of civil engineering with a specialization in transportation engineering and planning. He obtained is doctoral degree from Michigan State University in the USA. Dr. Al-Sahili is currently a director of the Construction and Transportation Center as well as an associate professor at An-Najah National University in Nablus, Palestine. He managed and conducted several projects, and conducted training programs.
Dr. Al-Sahili has 20 years of experience in various areas of civil engineering and strategic planning in teaching, research, and professional experience. He taught several undergraduate and graduate courses at universities in the USA, Jordan, and Palestine. He also conducted several research projects for the Michigan State Department of Transportation and US Department of Transportation as well as at An-Najah National University.
Dr. Al-Sahili was involved in several strategic planning activities and projects.
Dr. Al-Sahili participated in many local, regional, and international conferences and seminars within his area of expertise. He has also chaired the Organizing Committee for the Palestinian Conference for Development and Reconstruction, which was held at An-Najah University in March 2006.
Dr. Al-Sahili published several articles and papers in professional journals and conferences. He received several awards for his work in research, teaching, and professional activities.
Dr. Al-Sahili worked in the USA, Jordan, and Palestine. He also worked with several international consulting companies. Dr. Al-Sahili is a member of several international professional organizations. He is fluent in English and Arabic languages. Dr. Al-Sahili is a registered professional engineer in the State of Florida.

Managing the research center in conducting research projects and studies in the fields of transportation engineering and construction materials.
Sample projects include development and performing of a national database for traffic volume counts, environmental impacts of traffic systems, speed humps, traffic circulation plans, traffic impacts, roadway and pavement evaluation studies, quality control for construction companies, and testing construction material properties.
