Develop and analyze federal, state, and local policy alternatives and determine the potential implications of these policies on farmers, agribusiness firms, local and regional economies, the environment, consumers and taxpayers. Educate local, state and federal farm and commodity groups on policy related issues and provide support to these groups in the preparation and analysis of policy alternatives. Support ongoing efforts to assist state and federal legislators in the deliberations and analysis of agricultural policies.

Farm Bill Education Program 2009-2011

· Provide information to producers, policymakers, legislators, and commodity groups on policy related issues and provide support to these groups in the preparation and analysis of policy alternatives.
