Reports To (title): Director, Executive Compensation and Benefits

Summary
Analyzing, evaluating and administering active and retiree benefit plans and programs while monitoring benefit trends in the business environment and staying abreast of applicable benefits legislation.
The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:
· Analyze plan performance of health and welfare plans for active domestic and international plans as well as the retiree plan
· Ensure compliance of health and welfare plans as well as 401(k) and non-qualified plans
· Recommend enhancements or adjustments when applicable
· Administer all benefit plans for active and retiree groups. Including but not limited to:
o Communicate with benefit vendors regularly
o Review, monitor and maintain benefits materials and employee communications
o Preparing benefit invoices and ensuring timely payments
o Coordinate and plan for benefit related enhancements in the system and with applicable vendors
o Reviewing benefit variances prior to payroll processing
o Handle benefit plan questions from employees
o Review electronic file transmittals sent to benefit vendors
o Oversee COBRA administration
o Ensure benefit inquiries with are solved in a timely manner or elevated to the appropriate level
o Assist with new hire questions and preparation for orientation
o Provide back-up support on 401(k) wires and ensure accurate and timely deposits into the trust
o Ensure testing is completed timely and any inquiries outlined are addressed
· Coordinate annual benefits enrollment for actives and retirees
· Prepare certain reporting and annual notices such as, form 5500’s, SARs, etc.
· Complete benefits projects as appropriate and participate in integration efforts
· Ensure special projects and request are completed in a timely manner
· Provide back-up support to compensation and 401(k) analyst
· Assist with United Way Campaign

The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:
· BS Degree
· Work experience in benefits of four to seven years
· Intermediate experience in Microsoft applications
· Willing to travel to other locations
