Relevant Experience / Minimum three years previous management leadership experience in a reservations or reception hotel.
Strong time management, organisational qualities and confidence
Sound communication and customer service skills and the ability to deal with high volume of calls and guests
Proven ability to foster a spirit of teamwork and camaraderie whilst achieving business goals
Previous experience in recruiting, training and motivating staff.
Revenue management and ledger control
Budgetary management and control / Application form and interview
Education and training / O level of maths and English / NVQ Level 2 Customer Service
Emergency First Aid at Work qualification
Intermediate or advanced health and safety qualification. / Application form
Special Knowledge and Skills / Computer literacy – spreadsheets and database
Complaint handling and problem solving.
Report writing and statistical analysis
Excellent telephone manner and attention to detail / Knowledge of Guestline hotel PMS system and Roomlynx or equivalent.
Sales and upselling techniques.
