Job Title: Manager, Donor Relations (Medical)

Pay Band: 6

FLSA Status: Exempt

General Description (Purpose and Function):

Manages, cultivates, and expands the relationships between the organization and its donors at all levels, by providing extraordinary service to donors and exceeding expectations in the areas of maintaining and managing donor information.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Supports the development department in identifying and cultivating new donors.

· Prepares correspondences to existing donors/prospects and coordinates follow-up activities.

· Prepares solicitation materials and other fundraising tools.

· Manages the organization’s database, including gift tracking, processing and thank you letter fulfillment.

· Coordinates and cultivates donor relationships with outside groups raising money on behalf of the organization.

· Solicits donors for annual gifts.

· Provides excellent and timely customer service to external customers who request information.

· Trains, develops, manages and evaluates direct reports.

· Interviews perspective employees seeking employment within the department and provides recommendation to the Director.

· Provides recommendations and ideas regarding strategy and operational initiatives to the Director.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements (Essential Requirements):

· Bachelor’s degree required.

Work Experience Requirements (Essential Requirements):

· Three years of relevant work experience required.
