JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: TECHNICAL REPRESENTATIVE
Reports To: Director of Product Support
Status: Exempt
Position Responsibilities
Serves as primary interface with helicopter owners/customers to assist them with technical issues both in the field and at the factory. Runs schools and teaches mechanics /owners technical aspects of helicopter. Writes and updates technical manuals.
Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
1. Serves as a contact at factory for technical services and technical issues.
2. Responds to calls, FAX’s, letters, E-mails and other contacts and requests for technical support.
3. Travels to field upon direction from supervisor and works with customers, technical issues, to assist and troubleshoot problems.
4. Visits dealer network and service centers to educate on issues and inspects to ensure compliance with Enstrom’s requirements.
5. Works with prospective customers to promote and support helicopter sales as directed.
6. Represents Enstrom at various trade shows as directed.
7. Writes and updates technical manuals and other communications with owners and operators in the field. Serves as communicator with field.
8. Serves as instructor for maintenance training schools.
9. Develops curriculum, organizes materials, and structures delivery.
10. Responsible for on-sight maintenance schools---setting up, running, curriculum, etc., including specialized training requests.
11. Develops and updates training manual.
12. Serves as contact at factory for school information.
13. Sets up and conducts Service Center schools as directed.
14. Trains back-up instructors as directed.
REQUIRED CREDENTIALS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITIES
Current A & P license
Outstanding language and communications skills
