Title: CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE Classification: Clerk 09

The Customer Service Representative is primarily responsible for responding directly, by phone and email, to public inquiries pertaining to the program area.

Title: Finance Clerk Classification: Clerk 9

To provide financial support services for a unit, branch or region.

Title: RECORDS CLERK Classification: Clerk 09

To provide records management support services to a program area for a large and/or complex records management system(s). The position typically reports to a supervisor with limited involvement in records management. Functional direction/guidance may be provided by Information Access Operations.

Title: LEGAL CLERK Classification: Clerk 09

Performs a variety of legal support services for Crown Counsel and the public for criminal justice files and performs redaction services (entry level) for the purposes of disclosure to defense counsel. This position is required to understand a variety of legal terms, know the differences between the various levels of court and understand the Rules of Court (timelines) as it relates to performing the redaction function for the particulars/preliminary disclosure for defence council.

Title: LICENSING CLERK Classification: Clerk 09

To process all new license applications or renewals and respond to inquiries from Government staff, licensing applicants and other stakeholders. The position will be required to enter data and maintain files.

Title: Program Assistant Classification: Clerk Stenographer 9

To provide a variety of office administrative, secretarial and financial support services for the branch and coordinate the day to day priorities of the manager, including providing liaison with ministry executive offices. This position requires the ability to keyboard with speed and accuracy at approximately 40 to 50 words per minute.

Title: FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION CLERK Classification: Clerk Stenographer 9

To provide a variety of office administrative, and financial support services for the business unit. The more complex financial responsibilities such as budget development are performed by other positions. The position provides support to multiple staff members within the business unit. This position requires the ability to keyboard with speed and accuracy at approximately 40 to 50 words per minute.

Job Requirements:

Criteria for Preliminary Screening:

Contact Centre & Customer Service defined as customer service and information collection and/or delivery to a diverse group of clients:

•  Grade 12 or equivalent.

•  Experience/training using standard computer applications.

•  6 months experience in a high volume customer service delivery environment.

Defined education, training, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities will be required for specific jobs.

Administrative defined as office clerical, secretarial, administration, financial and comparable support services:

•  Grade 12 or equivalent.

•  Experience/training using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and other standard computer applications in an office setting.

•  One year office experience. (e.g. Clerical, secretarial, receptionist or administrative support in an office environment).

Defined education, training, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities will be required for specific jobs.
