Established 1970
Over a span of four decades Jaisim-Fountainhead has undertaken and executed scores of projects in almost every aspect of the building industry. Building on a philosophy that is committed to the earth and dedicated to the client, every creation bears the unmistakable trademark of Jaisim – iconoclastic, individualistic and eco-friendly.

From 1970 – ’75:

o Taj - Fisherman’s Cove - Luxury beach resort, situated on the east coast, near Chennai, over a land area of 23 acres with main block and cottages and other support facilities covering an area over 100000 sft.
o Pre-fabricated Housing for VGP, Madras – especially developed for mass housing. Design and prototypes created.
o P & B Medical Centre, Madras.
o Ramakrishna Nursing Home, Erode.
o Sea Shore cottages for Syed Ibrahim.
o Hill Cottages for Syed Yusuf, Coonoor.
o Small Industries Pavilion, THE BUBE, Delhi – Won the President’s Nomination Award. [A fascinating walk-through far ahead of its time (1970) based on the influence of Prof. Buckminster Fuller’s – geodesic. The dome design was based on cubes turned around on their edge.]
o Cochin Football Stadia (national competition) with commercial space.
o Associated with Ar. Geoffrey Bawa on a few projects in India.
o With Premnath and Associates – Lufthansa and TWA interiors.

1975 – 1980 (while in Oman):
o Turnkey Projects, Muscat (Oman).

o Key-Stone Terrace Apartments, Madras – a personal promotion.
o ‘Anthem’ – An eco- friendly home designed and built in the early ‘80s utilising design-optimisation as a philosophy. ‘Anthem’ has been the subject of many papers.
o The Bangalore Hospital - A multi-specialty hospital: Basement plus eight floors covering over 1, 00,000 sft. on 23,000 sft. property.
o AFNHB, Banaswadi Layout: Design only with Kaannades (Architects) – Housing and other facilities.
o Production Center – Advanced Micronics Devices.
o Production Center – Hewlett Packard.
o Vijaya Bank Housing Colony layout (behind IIM-Bangalore).
