INVITATION

International Conference on Earth Science and Technology 2009 will be held in Beijing, China, from May 14th to 16th, 2009. The aim of the Conference is to promote international academic exchanges and drive the development and progress of earth system science. The theme of the Conference is earth system science building which contains four topics, namely theory and method building, data and flat building, research on testing and simulation, and the future trend of earth system science. Science and Technology Review Publishing House, CAST extends an invitation to those interested in earth system science, from across the world to attend the Conference which offers a great opportunity for academic discussions and cooperations.

The official language of the Conference (manuscripts, presentations, etc.) is English.

C ALL FOR PAPERS

Earth System Science has become crucial to almost every part of society. Global population, resources and environmental issues are closely related to the sustainable development of society and human benefits. International Conference on Earth Science and Technology 2009 invites those people who are interested in environment, geography, geo-information science, resources, climate and the related subjects. The authors who are willing to present either oral or poster presentations are required to submit an abstract and an application form before February 20, 2009. The list of accepted abstracts will be announced on March 1, 2009.

The authors are invited to submit a 250-300 word abstract which should be 21*29.7cm (A4) with a margin of 3cm on the top and bottom and 2.5cm on the right and left, using "Times New Roman" font throughout, single-spaced paragraphs and 12pt. type for the body text. An abstract should contain title, author(s) full name (the speaker’s name should be underlined), address and E-mail. The authors are also required to fill in and return the application form.
