Today’s Interior Design Legends

PowerPoint, Prezi or iMovie (or other digital form) Presentation

Create a presentation introducing your chosen designer to the class. Although some of these names are well known in the design world, people in this class may have never heard them. Please educate them as to why this designer became famous.

Rubric:

· Minimum of 15 frames – including pictures –videos are a plus.

· Each frame should include information about your designer.

· Introduce us to your designer. Tell us their background and influences.

· Show us their work (if possible their evolution)

· Any branding or licensing work they have been involved in.

· Your educated opinion on their work, what do you like, dislike and why

· Sources, at least 3 should be noted at the end of the presentation

*Include as many photos as you can find. Some designers, like Ralph Lauren, will have many photos to choose from where an earlier designer may only have a few.

Presentation = 100 Points

3 reference sources (2pts each) = 6 pts

15 frames or pages (5pts each) = 75 pts.

Use of Class time =9 pts

Overall Presentation/Creativity =10 pts
