1. How do I access an Interactive eBook?

The url is different for each product and can be found in the card that contains the access code.

2. How do I set up my account?

After going to the site, you will click on the “Sign In” button on the first page. A new window pops up. Select “Log In” if already registered or select “Register” if this is the first time logging in.

For first-time registration, the next screen shows you the Terms of Use. Click “I agree.” The next screen after that asks you to put in your access code which is found in the slimpack.

Next, put in your First Name, Last Name and University Affiliation. On the next screen after that, you are asked to input your Email address and Password.

Once you have done this, click “Next” and on the next screen you can hit “Finish.”

You are now ready to log in and access your eBook!

After you enter your Email Address and Password, you are then taken to your book.

To return to this page, use the url in the slimpack and “Log In” as a returning user. You should have also received an email upon successfully registering which has the url for the book in it. It also contains the email address and password you created for future reference.

3. How do my students access the Interactive eBooks?

After they purchase the eBook, they will follow the same process as the instructor.

5. Are there materials to give to my students to help them best use the eBook?

You can direct your students to our web screencasts. You can also direct your students to the help page within the eBook. Students simply click on the question mark in the upper right hand corner as shown below – the Help Guide will pop up in another window.

6. Is this compatible with my LMS?

No, but you can add a link to the eBook in your LMS

8. How long do I have access?

The instructor has access for the life of the edition. The student purchases a 180-day subscription to the product.

9. What are the main features of the product?

The eBook allows you to bookmark pages, add notes, and highlight the text. It includes a search tool as well as multimedia links that are accessed right from the book.

10. I’m getting an error when I try to access the eBook. What do I do?

Check that your operating system and browsers are up-to-date:
