2. Click on “My Account” in the navigation bar. Create an account using a permanent email address (doesn’t have to be your FSU email account.)

3. After receiving a confirmation email and approving the account creation, navigate to the homepage diginole.lib.fsu and click on “Submit Research.”

4. After clicking “submit research,” you will be brought to a list of FSU Colleges and departments. Scroll down until you reach “College of Medicine” and then select your respective department. For this example, we will use the Department of Biomedical Sciences.

5. Fill in the webform with all the required details about your article. Title, Authors, Document Type, Publication Date, Publication Title (journal you published in) and the Volume and Issue, Embargo (keeping the document hidden for a term with the options of no embargo, 6 months, 1 year, or 18 months), Keywords, Abstract, and the optional but highly encouraged fields for PubMed ID, Comments, and Recommended Citation.

6. After filling in the details about your document, and attaching the version of the article that the journal permits to be archived in a repository (“Upload file from your computer”), click “Submit.” The document will then be queued for review and approval.
