Instruction Documentation for OMP Citrix Access for UM-Carelink

Prerequisites:
Internet Explorer 6.x or higher required.
Internet Explorer Privacy/Security Settings set to medium or lower.
No Windows 3.11/95/98/me or MACs.
No support for Netscape Navigator or FireFox.
Citrix Net6 Helper Package may launch the first time you login using your computer.
Accept SSL Certificate security warning with “Always”.
May have to install ActiveX on home computer.
- Open Web Browser (Internet Explorer) to address: https:\\citrix.med.umich.edu
- A security screen will come up (as seen below) that will scan your machine.
- If the scan fails, you will be notified and your Citrix Administrator will need to be contacted. If the scan passes, the screen below will appear. Enter Your UMHS Username, followed by your LEVEL-1 (Kerberos) password. If your login fails, you will continue to see this same screen
- When your login is successful, you will be directed to a Level-2 Sign-in screen as shown below. Enter Your UMHS Username, followed by your LEVEL-2 password. If your login fails, you will receive the error: ‘ERROR: The supplied credentials were invalid. Please try again or contact your system administrator for help.’
- After your login is successful, you will be directed to a screen similar to the one below. A security warning may pop up. If it does, simply click ‘Yes’ and to continue.
- Once you click ‘Yes’ – the Citrix Desktop will be launched and you will see the window shown below in the middle of your screen.
The OMP Citrix Desktop will come up in a new window and you can begin working in Careweb and UM-Carelink.
- When you complete your work, close the Carelink Application. Click on the ‘Start button’ and then click on ‘Logoff’. Please DO NOT exit by simply clicking on the X in the upper right hand corner.
- Close the web browser.
