RECENTLY WE HAVE BEEN NOTIFED BY THE ASSOCIATION THAT MANY OF OUR RENTERS HAVE BEEN HANGING TOWELS AND BLANKETS OVER THE RAILS OF THE PATIO/BALCONY.

IT IS AGAINST THE ASSOCIATION RULES TO HANG ANYTHING OVER THE PATIO OR BALCONY. IF YOU DO SO, THE PENALTY THAT IS CHARGED TO US BY THE ASSOCIATION WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT.

RULES:

ü  This unit is not intended to sleep more than seven people at any time.

ü  This is a residential community, please be courteous and respectful to your neighbors by keeping the noise level to a minimum during early morning and evening hours. Please be careful not to slam doors or cupboards, as this can be loud and disturbing to neighbors.

ü  It is prohibited by the homeowner’s association to ride bicycles and scooters on the paved walkways of the complex, fines may be imposed against us, and subsequently charged against your deposit.

ü  Please do not gather in common areas of the complex, this can be disruptive to neighbors.

ü  The association does not allow towels to be hung over the balcony or patios.

ü  Smoking is prohibited inside the unit.

ü  Pets are not allowed.

ü  We greatly appreciate that all plumbing, electrical or appliance failures be reported to us immediately so we can remedy the problem for you as soon as possible.

ü  Failure to adhere to any of the above rules could result in loss of your security deposit.

Crumbs and beach shells are favorite entrees of the Argentine ant. Ant spray is provided for you if retaliation is required. Rains commonly bring out temporary invasion, your patience is appreciated.

Frequently Asked Questions

·  Is there A/C in the unit? No. The thermostat is operating for the central heating unit. The complex does not have A/C as we rarely need it thanks to the wonderful coastal climate.

·  Where can I find the first-aid kit/fire extinguisher? They are located in the bathroom. Please take a moment to locate them in case of an emergency.

·  Is this unit child proof? The unit is not child proof; if you are visiting with small children, please take a minute to place items that could cause harm out of their reach. Our floor is slippery when wet. Dry your feet thoroughly before stepping out of the tub or coming in with wet suits.

·  Do you have a port-a-crib? Yes. It is located in the bedroom closet. If you do not find it, please contact us.

·  Is smoking permitted in your unit? No smoking is allowed at anytime inside this unit.

·  Can I hang my towels over the rails on the patio/balcony to dry? No. It is against the rules of our association to hang anything over the patio/balcony. It will result in penalty fees, which will be taken out of your security deposit.

·  How do I use the T.V. remotes? Please refer to our information binder, under unit information for instructions on remotes.

·  What is your wireless name and password? You will find the wireless information under unit information in the information binder.

·  What time is check-out? Check out is at 11 am. When you depart, please empty the trash and lock the unit.

·  Can I make long distance calls from the unit telephone? No. The unit telephone is for local calls only. All pay services are blocked.

·  Is the pool heated? The pool is heated year round.

·  When does the funicular run? Is it free? It will be opened during daylight hours on weekends, holidays -year round and everyday beginning Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. There is no fee at this time.

·  Where is the closest grocery store? There are a few stores nearby, Vons, Ralphs, Gelsons. You will find a map in the information binder under local information.

·  In case of an emergency? If you need immediate assistance dial 9-1-1 from the telephone. For emergency #’s such as complex security, police departments, or hospitals

Parking Space

You are assigned parking space- #496

***There is an attached map of the parking lot to help you find them.

You may park on Selva Road or any unmarked spots. (This is first come-first serve parking)

Friday from 9am- 12 pm there is no parking on Selva.

Parking in other marked stalls could result in a towing of your vehicle.

If you find that someone has parked in your assigned parking, please attached a letter from the next sleeve section. You will find a letter with an attached copy of the by-laws stating that this parking spot is assigned to our unit. If the letter does not get a result, please contact us and we will take further action through the association.

Please note-

You are in violation of the CC&Rs parking regulations.

Please see attached listing of Parking Plan.

Unit 274 is designated for spaces # 496.

We do not wish to cause any problems or report you to the Board as this would cause your car to be towed. We ask that you do not use the designated space in the future.

Pool Information

  • Pool Hours are 8 am to 10 pm.
  • The pool gate key is located in the hallway key box.
  • The pool/Jacuzzi is located in the center of the complex behind the building for units 300-306.
  • There is a separate Jacuzzi for adults only located on the north-west side of the complex.
  • No glass containers should be taken to the pool area.
  • Please adhere to the rules located at the poolside.
  • There is no lifeguard at the pool, please watch your children carefully.

WE HAVE A BARBEQUE ON THE BALCONY/PATIO FOR YOUR USE.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO CLEAN THE BBQ THROUGHLY AFTER USE. TO AVOID ADDITIONAL CLEANING FEES PLEASE REMOVE ALL FOOD DEBRIS FROM THE GRILL.

IN THE CASE THAT YOU RUN OUT OF PROPANE, PLEASE NOTIFY US.
