a. Kellor: This club is an international club that talks about international topics and issues. We are asking for general funding for printing and possibly a banner.

iv. BILL 2017-303: AN OFFICIAL ORDER OF THE STUDENT SENATE TO DIRECT THE ELECTIONS COMMISSION TO PUT FORTH A QUESTION FOR REFERENDUM

a. Gabby Naylor: in order to add a referendum question to next Spring’s election we must pass this referendum in senate first. This fee did not pass in fee review last year so this is how we are trying to raise the fee

i. Do you have a layout if this passes?

1. There is a lot that needs to be renovated to keep the union up to date. This would also not be added on until 2020.

ii. How much information will the students have?

1. Chance M.: we are going to have a campaign during elections that will educate students so they will not vote blindly.

iii. Last year we had 19% voter turnout, do you think it’s okay that such a small number of students are voting for this?

1. There is a stipulation that states that at least 10% of students must vote on this.

iv. Do you anticipate asking Student Senate for funding to fund the campaign?

1. No, the Union has enough money to fund the campaign

c. Megan (Member of the club): This is open to the public and we are wanting to get more people outside of the Slavic department more involved in Slavic studies.
