Studying literature well involves reading texts closely and annotating significant features of the text; studying for the IB exams in May should include re-reading, re-marking, and memorizing important passages we’ve analyzed in class. For those reasons, we are recommending that you purchase the texts we will be studying next year. To simplify this process, we are asking you to make your buying decisions and your purchases this summer. The list of texts appears below (remember that two “books,” our poetry anthology and the essays of Virginia Woolf, will be made available for you to download next year).
