2015 Hope It Don't Snow Show - Registration

Registration is a simple four step process which facilitates entering, displaying, viewing and judging models. It is encouraged that forms be completed prior to arrival to insure models are given due consideration the day of the show.

One, identify an entry category for each model. The 2015 Hope It Don't Snow Show recognizes eight model categories irrespective of scale (1:35, 1:48, 1:72, etc.)

Category Model type

1 aircraft

2 armor

3 automotive & motorcycle

4 ships

5 figures

6 dioramas

7 miscellaneous (science fiction, real space, humor, other)

8 youth

Two, complete a category form for each category of models entered. For example, if entering four aircraft, two automotive and one figure, three individual category sheets will need to be completed: a category 1 aircraft sheet (listing four aircraft entries), a category 3 automotive sheet (listing two automotive entries) and a category 5 figure sheet (listing one figure). Use additional category sheets if entering a large number of models in a particular category. The category forms are used by the judges to record their remarks. Please print clearly on those forms as the judges will need to be able to read the model name and scale.

An individual model will be considered for only one “Best …” award. If a particular model should be considered for a “Best …” special award, select the one “Best …” identifier for which a particular model should be evaluated. Provide the corresponding letter identifier both on the model category and model entry forms.

Four, complete an individual model entry form for each model entered. A model entry form is placed next to each model and displays the model name and scale, kit manufacturer, if being considered for "Best .." recognition and a brief description informing judges and attendees of your work. The model entry form also contains the entrant's name and contact information. A model entry number will be assigned on the day of the show. To assure anonymity during judging please fold under personal information section of the form.

Registration fee is $5.00 for 1-3 models and $1.00 for each additional model. No charge for youth registration. Admission to the show is free.

In an effort to facilitate a smooth registration process and to help judges read information on registration forms, those attendees who bring pre-typed registration forms will be given one raffle ticket/attendee as a token of our appreciation.
