A reception with food and drinks will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. followed by our awards presentation at 7:00 p.m. followed by a dessert event at 8:30 p.m.
What is the dress code for the DDC Awards Celebration?
This event is considered “dressy” but not overly formal. Appropriate attire for gentlemen includes a suit and tie (dress shirt with sport coat certainly acceptable). Appropriate attire for women would be an evening dress.
Are children allowed at the DDC Awards Celebration?
We prefer guests be 18 years of age and over. Alcohol is served during the reception.
Can I bring additional guests?
Award winners are allowed to bring one complimentary guest to the event. The event features a reception of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food service stations.
The cost for additional guests is $100 per person, and must be paid in advance via credit card. Instructions will be included on the website when you receive your formal invitation in July.
Who arranges travel/accommodations to attend the DDC Awards Celebration?
You are responsible for the booking and payment of your travel/accommodations. Discounts on airfare and official hotel information can be found on our Congress & Expo website: www.congress.nsc.org
Can I attend other Congress events besides the DDC Awards Celebration?
Any attendee of the of the DDC Awards Banquet can attend the Congress Opening Session and visit the Expo Floor. Only registered participants can attend the NSC Congress & Expo Technical Sessions and Professional Development Seminars which begin on Saturday, September 23rd.
