1st screen (above) is what will appear when you click on Process Account Desktop and pick the hospital you are working in.

F 9 in Account field will bring up list of accounts

The buttons on the right hand will also let you find accounts by Number – Medical Record Number- Guarantor – UCRN (TCN) – Soc Security Number as well.

I entered T for Test last name and found this HSN account.

This is your Process Account Screen – it is called the Summary screen on the right hand buttons.

The next button on the right is Demographics – it pulls up this screen below – which also has buttons at the top – you can change information here by clicking on the edit button below

click on CDS flag top button row to enter the Y flag – I already entered it

Next button is the Insurance one on the right side – top row are other buttons that will need to be used as well when updating. Notice- bottom buttons – add/edit/reorder - offset

The next button is Codes – this is where you see the coding

The Billing Codes button at top is the old Billing Type A screen

Type of Bill – I entered 137 for replacement

I also entered A3 Occurrence Code with date of 12/21/09 – even though not really needed for this account

Notice edit button as well.

Next button is Inquiry and has a lot of buttons on the top of the page that will take you to other screens. Edit and Print button are on the bottom

Next button is Bills – which is where you can unbill – reorder/reprorate edit balances – demand bill etc.

Forms to Queue

Next button is claims – takes awhile for screen to pop up!

All kinds of buttons here to work with! Screen – Failed Checks – Override checks- Queue- Queue date range claim - Hold etc.

Next screen is Collections and again all kinds of buttons to work with.

Agency transfer button is what you would use for your special waiver ERBD transfers

Comments button in Collection button is where you can enter comments and edit comments and reminder button is to send reminders.

This is just a little review of what an account is going to look like in the Meditech upgrade. The go live date is still scheduled for the end of June.
