High School Receptionist/ Executive Assistant

Bradford Christian Academy (BCA) is accepting applications for a full-time high school receptionist/executive assistant. Applicants should enjoy working with high school students and educational professionals in a college preparatory academic environment. BCA employees are expected to represent the school in a positive light in all spheres of influence, and all staff must subscribe to Standards for Christian Living, being members in good standing at a Protestant, Catholic, or Orthodox Church. Candidates must demonstrate

1. Strong communication skills both interpersonally and in writing,

2. Positive work attitude and friendly personality to welcome parents, guests, and students,

3. Excellent organizational skills to manage files and confidential correspondence,

4. Ability to handle large volumes of detailed information rapidly,

5. Robust skills in Excel, Word, and Google Drive programs,

6. Computer competency to manage high school information systems, including student attendance, medical information, and other electronic and traditional student records,

7. Innovative perspectives toward improving high school systems,

8. Confidentiality for all teacher, administrator, student, and parent communications and protect operations by keeping all information private,

9. Ability to conserve executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications, and

10. Scheduling skills by maintaining executive's appointment schedule, planning meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and organizing travel.

SALARY & BENEFITS

This is a full-time, 12-month position. Salary is negotiable, commensurate with experience and/or qualifications. Starting date: August 1, 2017.
