Helpful Tips for Associates About The Willis Notification System (iModus)

The Willis Notification System – iModus, uses contact information provided by Associate input into www.myhr.willis.com (PeopleSoft), to quickly notify Associates about situations that could impact them or their local office (weather closure, delayed opening, early closure, tornado in area, explosion, etc.). The benefit of using iModus is that it:

1. Fast and efficient way to send a message to multiple Associates and multiple devices (voice to landline, text to cell, email to work or home).

2. Allows the office to track Associate acknowledgement of message where accounting for Associates is an issue.

Associates can choose to receive their iModus messages in multiple formats, e.g. text or call to cell phone; call to business, main, work or other numbers; via email to a personal email account, or via email to a Willis email account. If you choose to have multiple forms of contact in PeopleSoft, you need only respond successfully to one form of contact for your acknowledgement to be received.

Associates who wish to receive the iModus message on a cellular device, regardless if they expect to receive the message to that device via text or phone call, must input the cellular number and choose ‘Phone Type: Cellular/mobile’ in PeopleSoft to receive the iModus message.


Important Note: Some cellular companies apply ‘spam block’ filters to text messages. If you’ve correctly identified your cellular number as ‘Phone Type Cellular/Mobile’ in PeopleSoft and still can’t receive iModus messages, contact your local cellular provider and ask that the ‘block of spam SMS messages’ feature be removed from your phone.

If an acknowledgment to the message is required, this will be stated in the body of the iModus message (e.g. your acknowledge of this message required)

v To successfully acknowledge receipt of message sent via text or email, please reply to message by typing in ‘received’

v To successfully reply to a message received voice call to cellular device or landline number:

1. Associate will receive call from 866-506-1040

o If Associates answer the phone when iModus calls they will:

§ Be told to immediately enter the # key or hash tag (for our UK Associates) so iModus knows it has reached a live person.

§ Listen to the message.

§ Enter # key or hash tag (for our UK Associates) to acknowledge receipt of the message.

2. If the Associate doesn’t answer the phone when iModus calls, they will be left this voicemail: “Hello, you’ve been left an emergency message from the Willis Notification System. Please dial 866-506-1040 to listen and acknowledge receipt of this message. Thank you.”
