OUTCOMES

· Refer to the document entitled Common Metrics & Accountability Measures located at http://doingwhatmatters.cccco.edu/PromoteStudentSuccess/RFAProcess.aspx. Discuss your strategy for improving the stated metrics.

EVALUATION AND INTEGRATION OF EXISTING ASSETS

You have funds to charter collaborative communities so that practitioners and/or faculty can collaborate and provide peer-to-peer knowledge exchange in areas of common interest. Collaborative communities can choose to interact virtually, via ccc confer, in-person or some combination thereof. Each collaborative community must have a charter that states its objectives, names the host, and specifies a span of life for the community. Upon completion of the charter, the community is retired.

· Discuss the collaborative communities you would propose to meet the goals of your sector.

· Identify and evaluate existing Perkins-funded collaboratives or advisories related to this sector.

· Identify redundant advisories across the state (e.g., K-12 system? WIB? Industry groups? SB-70 funded? Perkins-funded? EWD-funded? Other). Discuss plans to leverage, co-opt, or navigate them.

· Describe how you plan to structure the sector’s advisory body(ies) moving forward. Please consider strengthening or leveraging existing rather than forming new ones.

o Each sector listed at http://doingwhatmatters.cccco.edu/PromoteStudentSuccess/RFAProcess.aspx shall have at least one statewide industry-led advisory body. Note: an advisory body should have at least 50% industry representation.

o Reasons to warrant additional advisory body(ies): sector segments, centers serving a region or multi-regions, or other.

o Discuss their inter-relationship and interaction.
