Graphics Adapter Driver Updating Step in Windows Server 2008 R2

1. Download graphics adapter driver

1) Download graphics adapter driver from http://support.advantech.com.tw/Support/DownloadSRDetail_New.aspx?SR_ID=1-PQZH9N&Doc_Source=Download.

2) Select UNO-4683_Server2008_R2_VGA.zip and click mouse right button.

Select ‘Extract to UNO-4683_Server2008_R2_VGA’ as following picture 1.

2. Install .NET Framework 3.5

1) In UNO4683 Windows Server 2008 R2 OS, select ‘Computer’ and click mouse right button and then select ‘Manage’. Please refer to the following picture 2.

2) Enter ‘Server Manager’ and select ‘Features’, click mouse right button and select ‘Add Features’

3) Select ‘.NET Framework 3.5.1 Features’ and then click ‘Add Required Role Services’ button as the following picture4.

4) Click ‘Install’ button and then begin installing as following picture 5 and picture 6.

3. Update graphics adapter driver

1) Open Windows Device Manager in Server Manager and select Display adapters -> Standard VGA Graphics Adapter as following picture 7.

2) After select Standard VGA Graphics Adapter, click mouse right button and select ‘Update Driver Software…’ Please refer to the following picture 8.

3) Select ‘Browse my computer for driver software’ as following picture 9.

4) Click ‘Browse…’ to find driver folder and set path to ‘UNO-4683_Server2008_R2_VGA\Graphics’. Please refer to the following picture 10.

5) The driver is updated successfully as following picture 11.

6) After the driver is updated successfully, please restart computer as the following picture 12.

7) After restarted computer, open Windows Device Manager and enter ‘Display adapters’. Can display ‘Intel(R) HD Graphics’ normally. Please refer to the following picture 13.
