Ref: A more serious side to the U.S. torture tactics: DOJ had advance knowledge of planned terrorist attacks obtained from key al Qaeda member that was withheld from other government sources. Nearly 4,000 deaths thereafter occurred in the forewarned terrorist attacks. This information comes from former a federal agent and a mole inside the al Qaeda cell headed by Ramzi Yousef.
As a former federal agent with numerous sources of important insider sources, one of my sources was a mole inside the al Qaeda cell headed by the infamous Ramzi Yousef. As you probably know, Yousef was the mastermind behind the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center and the planned simultaneously bombing of 11 U.S. airliners departing Far East locations.
I have been in contact with this mole for several years, and have gained considerable information and documentation showing the following facts are correct. For your information, I am a former highly respected federal airline safety investigator and over the years have discovered matters responsible for serious harm upon the American people and upon national security. This segment is based upon the withholding of critical information on planned terrorist attacks that blocked actions taken to prevent the attacks from occurring and is based upon inside information that is either unknown, or those who know about it, have deliberately prevented it from being publicized.
· The “mole” who infiltrated the al Qaeda cell headed by Yousef, was a former Mafia member in the Colombo Family, from New York City by the name of Gregory Scarpa. Jr. His efforts to protect the United States from terrorist attacks required that he put the life of his family at risk,
· The “mole” obtained the confidence of Ramzi Yousef, believing that his New York City Mafia group was also interested in inflicting harm upon the United States.
· Scarpa, in collaboration with FBI agents in the New York City area, set up a bogus Mafia front corporation in New York City, and advised Yousef that he could make local phone calls from his federal holding cell at the Metropolitan Holding Center in New York City to the Mafia front company, and that Mafia personnel (FBI agents in disguise) would forward the calls to al Qaeda members. Numerous calls were then made by Yousef to al Qaeda members in the New York City area, in Texas, and in the Middle East.
· Over a period of time, Yousef confided to the Scarpa planned terrorist attacks by his al Qaeda group. These included attacks:
o Upon a U.S. airliner departing the New York City area.
o Upon U. S. Embassies in Africa.
o Involving the hijacking of U.S. airliners.
· Information on subsequent terrorist attacks, especially using U.S. airliners, could very well have originated from him, and used by the al Qaeda group for their planned terrorist attacks
· After local New York City FBI agents received the information on the planned terrorist attacks from the al Qaeda member through Scarpa, information that they considered highly reliable, higher FBI-DOJ personnel blocked the information from being passed along to other government entities that would have taken steps to prevent the terrorist attacks.
· Among the reasons why high FBI-DOJ personnel withheld the information was to prevent Scapa from being recognized as providing creditable information of great value to the security of the United States. Scarpa was expected to testify in several murder trials concerning multiple murders that his father committed with a key FBI supervisor in the FBI New York City offices. Scarpa’s farther known as “The Killing Machine,” and had been involved in murders for several years with a key FBI supervisor. If Scarpa had received recognition for his patriotic service to the United States, his credibility in testifying against the FBI could not easily be discredited. There were, of course, recognized risks to that covering up for that critical information about planned terrorist attacks obtained in confidence from one of the top al Qaeda sources. The subsequent deaths of nearly 4,000 people in the exact forewarned terrorist attacks provides prima facie evidence of that risk.
· Based upon my I discovered over the years, first as a government agent responsible for correcting the conditions responsible for the worst series of airline disasters in the nation’s history, and than what I learned thereafter, there are multiple areas of very serious misconduct undermining the security of the United States. These matters are being repeatedly cover-up. They also played major roles in the easy hijackings of four airliners on September 11, 2001. These issues are for another time.

Compounding this bizarre situation is the contradiction between the information on planned terrorist attacks revealed in confidence to Gregory Scarpa acting as a mole, while U.S. politicians authorized the brutal torture of mostly low-levels suspects.
