Free World Music Festival at Humboldt Park

(Milwaukee, WI) – A free performance of world music and culture, The Global Union World Music Festival, will take place on September 16 and 17 from 1pm to 7pm at the Humboldt Park Bandshell, 3000 S. Howell Avenue. Musical artists from Africa, Central Europe, Latin America, East Asia and the Middle East will perform.

World Music has evolved beyond its original meaning of ethnic field recordings into highly imaginative and creative expressions in global culture. Artists freely mix and blend sounds into a music that comes from the world stage at large.

The schedule of performing artists follows:
