Crushers Technique List

Each level has to be passed entirely. Each wrestler has to show the ability to do the following techniques by Phase and each phase assumes they know the previous phase. (Ex. Phase 2 Wrestler knows Beginners phase + Phase 1)

Everyone advances at a different pace, however 1st year wrestlers can learn B1-P2 in a season.

Beginners Phase (B1)

First 1 year in Wrestling

1.  Stance and motion, sprawling in a circle, level change and proper penetration steps, down-blocking, proper use of wrestling grips

2.  Leg attacks

  1. Double leg with setups and finishes
  2. Single leg with set ups and finishes
  3. Recovering from poor position

Phase 1 Wrestlers (P1)

1.  Leg attacks

  2. High Crotch with set ups and 4 finishes including the crack down position
  3. Single leg with set ups and 4 finishes from high and low level

2.  Secondary attacks

  1. PA (from opponent’s collar tie…a common wrestling position)
  2. Football grip and 2 finishes / one pinner!

3.  Front headlock position

  1. Go behind

1.  Double leg attacks with advanced set ups

  4. Elbow control HC (includes tricks to break the thumb)
  5. Finish to Double or Iranian lift finish
