Fossil Foldable Instructions
1. Measure from the long side of your paper in about 2.5cm.
2. Draw a line.
3. Fold you paper hot dog style so the edge is located on top of your line. It should look like the picture below.
4. Starting from the top measure in 5.6 cm increments until you have four marks.
5. Draw a line from the fold to the edge of your paper. You should have five boxes.
6. Cut the four lines with scissors. You will now have five tabs.
7. On the backside upper right hand corner write:
§ Name
§ Date
§ Class period
§ Bin Number
8. On the long tab – write Types of Fossils
9. On the front each of the short tabs
§ Label a type of fossil and draw and color a picture of it.
§ Use pages 105 – 112 in Earth’s Changing Surface as a resource
10. On the inside of each of the short tabs -
§ Write a definition and give an example.
§ Use pages 105 – 112 in Earth’s Changing Surface as a resource
11. Answer section 1 questions 1 – 4 page 112 on the back of your foldable.
