1236 - DELEGATIONS OF AUTHORITY TO FIELD POSITIONS.

1236.1 - Regions.

1236.12 - Deputy Regional Forester. The Deputy Regional Forester is delegated authority to perform all duties and to exercise all of the powers and functions which are now, or which hereafter may be, vested in the Regional Forester (FSM 1236.11).

1236.13 - Staff Director. Maximum latitude is encouraged in signing at the Staff Director level with the understanding that the Director exercise judgment in recognizing the correspondence which should go to the Regional Forester. Staff Directors are responsible for coordinating these activities with other Directors to ensure harmony.

Staff Directors shall use the signing title of "Director" and the name of the staff as follows:
