This philosophy dates back more than 30 years to when the first tennis camp was held in Aggieland. And, the success of the program clearly speaks for itself as more than 60 percent of the participants are repeat campers. All three sessions of the 2014 season were SOLD OUT.

About Aggie Tennis Camp

Aggie Tennis Camp is built on the foundation of the more than 30-year heritage of tennis camps and tennis programs in Aggieland. Camp directors Steve Denton, former U.S. Open Doubles Champion; Bob McKinley, former U.S. Open Doubles Semi-finalist; and Kevin O’Shea, former USTA Director of High Performance Coaching, lead three sessions each summer. The camp philosophy is to have fun on and off the court in a 6:1 ratio of players to coaches. Aggie Tennis Camp has defined itself through the structured curriculum that includes five hours of hitting each day along with an hour of classroom instruction. Campers will improve their game and will also have fun with the myriad of evening activities that include the following: Karaoke, Doubles Tournament, Olympic Night and Dance Night. Many of the Aggie Tennis Camp instructors are former campers so they know the traditions of camp and help make it fun!
