FOOTHILL FAMILY SERVICE CELEBRATES LOCAL SUPPORTERS
PASADENA, CA - On the evening of November 12th, the Board of Foothill Family Service welcomed local donors and volunteers to an evening of cocktails and appreciation at the home of Todd and Kirsten Molz of Pasadena.
Todd, the current Chair of Foothill Family’s Board of Directors, and Foothill Family Service Executive Director Helen Morran-Wolf took the opportunity to express the agency’s gratitude to the many supporters who have played a vital role in Foothill Family Service’s success over the past year. In 2008-2009, Foothill Family Service served more than 21,000 children, teens and adults in the San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys and surrounding areas. Attendees of the event were treated to delicious food, drinks and desserts, thanks in part to the generous underwriting provided by David Lee of Le Bijou Luxury Jewelers. Flowers provided by Jacob Maarse complemented the autumn motif.
Foothill Family Service’s mission is Building Brighter Futures for Children and Families. Founded 85 years ago, Foothill Family’s services reach the most vulnerable populations: high-risk and underserved children, teens and families in need. Programs include Mental Health, School-Based Counseling for Children, Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment, Domestic Violence Prevention and Treatment, Early Child Development, Supportive Services for Teen Parents, Family Counseling, and Youth Development.
