Spanish people from Spain are famous for their strong emotions and for their love of fiestas. Spanish people tend to be sociable but also shy. Socializing is wonderful in Spain. However, work is not wonderful. We need to improve that! There is unemployment and there is a bad organization of work. Spanish people work long hours and have little free time. Siestas are a dream, really, or something you do for 20 minutes not 2 hours!

Weekdays and Weekends
I’m going to describe my daily routine. On weekdays, I get up at 8. I have a shower and then I have breakfast. I have a coffee and toast for breakfast. I leave for work at 9. I take a bus to work. Then I walk a bit. I start work at 10.00. I work in a shop, from 10 to 14. Then I go home for lunch. At five I’m back at work. I finish work at 9. Then I go back home. I cook dinner and I watch TV. I go to bed at about 11. I read for about an hour and then fall asleep!
At weekends I do the shopping and the housework. In the evening I go out. I love dancing, so I go dancing! I often go to the same disco. I hardly ever go to Madrid. I stay in Getafe. My friends live here, too. Sometimes we go on an excursion to the mountain. I love it, too! Other times we visit museums or art galleries in Madrid. There are a lot of museums and art galleries in Madrid! And then we go for a walk in the Retiro Park. It’s very big and beautiful, and there are a lot of people, doing street performances and selling things.
