2017 Glass Magazine Award Winners Announced
(Embargoed until Tuesday, Aug. 29 at 12:30 p.m. ET)

WASHINGTON, D.C., Aug. 29, 2017—Glass Magazine has announced the winners of the 2017 Glass Magazine Awards. The prestigious glass and metal industry awards program recognizes the best products and glass applications the commercial, retail and fabrication markets have to offer.

“It's … more amazing each year to see just how sophisticated our industry has become, and how everyone in the supply chain comes together to bring these designs to fruition,” says Judge Alice Dickerson, manager, marketing and communications, Building & Industrial, AGC Glass North America, us.agc.com.

“I am impressed [with] the creativity and innovation that is accelerating in the industry. The opportunities to create striking design, while meeting the diverse needs and goals of clients and public at large are well represented with these entries,” adds Judge John Stephenson, senior architect and envelope specialist, BRPH Architects and Engineers, brph.com.

To determine the winners in the product and project categories, Glass Magazine submitted nominations to a panel of judges representing all segments of the glass and glazing industry. The judges then selected a winner in each category, to be featured in the Aug. 29 edition of e‐glass weekly, the September 2017 issue of Glass Magazine and on GlassMagazine.com.

This year’s program features winners in nine award categories across three segments: Project Awards, Product Awards, and Factory and Field Awards. New this year, the Factory and Field awards include Most Impressive Feat of Fabrication and Most Impressive Feat of Installation, and recognize the achievements behind the scenes that make innovative projects possible. Also new this year is the Unique Industry Innovation award to recognize a single cutting-edge glass or glazing product introduction.
