Field Trip for National Junior Honor Society
Thanks to a grant from the Panther Ram Foundation, we will be taking a field trip to the Chamber Theatre Productions performance of “Encore!” This presentation includes:
“The Raven”
“The Tell-Tale Heart”
“The Monkey’s Paw”
“The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”
“The Necklace”
“The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County.”
We will be going during school on FRIDAY, December 19, 2014.
Because we will not return until after lunch, you will need to pack a lunch.
Please let Mrs. Thorwart know now if that is a problem for you.
Also, since you are representing our school, you will be expected to dress up a little. Please do not wear jeans with holes and follow our school’s dress code. Men should wear a collared shirt or polo. Please do not wear t-shirts. Yes, ladies may wear school-appropriate dresses and skirts. We are going to the theatre. Look good!
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
9:05 – You will be called to the lobby. Put all items in your locker. Get and wear your coat. Please do not bring a cell phone. My cell number is listed at the bottom of this letter in case of an emergency. You may share my number with your parents.
9:15 – We will load the buses and depart EMS for the FORUM.
9:35-40 – Arrive at FORUM and be seated.
12:15 – Depart from the FORUM to return home.
12:30 – Eat lunch.
1:00 – Return to class.
