Get ready to shop and be entertained because it’s that time of the year for the Sugar Plum Food & Gift Mart happening October 21st – 22nd at the Altered Reality Event Center, 3960 Palmer Park Boulevard at Academy! Located in a spectacular holiday wonderland, this shopping extravaganza features arts, crafts, jewelry, boutique clothing, toys, Christmas décor, holiday gifts, and much more from 180 different vendors! Covering nearly 100,000 square feet, the largest holiday event in Colorado Springs will provide shoppers with unique gifts, one-of-a-kind treasures that cannot be found anywhere else. Enjoy live family entertainment, holiday demos, performances, wine tastings, samples, giveaways, the festival of trees and more – all under one roof!
Be inspired all weekend long with demonstrations sure to brighten your Christmas season. Watch Localvore’s demos on how to make gifts, scent extracts, candles, sugar plums, arrangements, and more. Now open to a second hall, see an entire section full of handmade craft vendors, our quilt exhibit, and the ever enchanting Festival of Trees!
Back by popular demand, the Sugar Plum Fairy and Serenity the Christmas Angel will grace us with their presence along with characters from GalaxyFest. Of course what would a holiday show be without Santa? Bring the family and have a picture taken with Santa for your holiday cards or check out the selfies photo booth by Key Photography.
Stroll through our wine cellar with samples from around the region. Purchase a bottle or two of your favorite to take home for your holiday celebrations. Enjoy a taste of some of Colorado Springs finest cuisine and delicacies. Watch dance performances by Jillian’s School of Dance and Step It Up in addition to Maggie Raines who will be singing Christmas Carols. Find entertainment for the kids at 3Tiger Martial Arts’ who will have a bounce house and more at the show or check out Cheyenne Mountain’s petting zoo!
