Fact #2: For life to be possible in the universe there must be an amazing amount of fine tuning so that we can exist. The distance of the earth from the sun, the moon from the earth, the amount of oxygen, carbon dioxide and the list goes on to such an extent that life cannot be a random event. (more to follow…)

In fact the number of finely tuned characteristics is over 90 and for them to all be fine tuned so we have life is like having coins piled up on Australia so that the piles reach the moon. Then pile coins on a billion other countries the same size up to the moon. Paint one coin red. Then get a blindfolded friend to find that one red coin that you've hidden among the billions of countries...

Fact #3: DNA - DNA is information. Organised code. A single strand of DNA is a thousand times thinner than a strand of your hair. In fact one pinhead of DNA could hold enough info to fill a stack of books that would stretch to the moon and back... 500 TIMES! Information that is organised in such a way needs a creator, designer or just go with it and accept/understand God did it!

Fact#4:God loves us so much He fine tuned our universe so it is just right for us to live on our planet: gravity - if larger: stars would be too hot and would burn too rapidly and too unevenly for life chemistry, if smaller: stars would be too cool to ignite nuclear fusion; thus, many of the elements needed for life chemistry would never form

Fact#5: If God doesn't exist where do we get our laws from? I mean who can then tell me what I can and can't do? The government? Why would they get to choose my life? Society, culture? In some cultures eating your neighbour is fine. In others, in old testament times, human sacrifice was also fine? But we would consider them abhorrent. So who makes the rules..?

Not really a fact but a thought - when I speak to people who don't believe, I ask 3 questions. 1 - do you believe in a God? 2 - Next question - which god do you believe in? there's lots of choices... 3- ok so now you believe there is a Jesus. So... what are you going to do about it?
