The Department of Labour has initiated a project to establish an occupational learning system which will include research and development work as well as project management in terms of the following objectives:

Objective 1: Development of (a) qualifications, (b) curricula frameworks and (c) learning material for occupational learning

Objective 2: Development and streamlining of quality assurance processes with regard to occupational learning

Objective 3: Development of structures, processes and procedures required for the Occupational Learning System

Objective 4: Advise the Minister of Labour on education, training and skills development and work-integrated learning policy matters within its jurisdiction and recommend necessary legislative requirements

Objective 5: Piloting of concepts developed through the above-mentioned objectives

Annex A

Annex A provides the evaluation criteria and scoring that will be used during the evaluation of CVs.

Annex B

Annex B provides more information in terms of the specific objectives.
