BRIDGETTE P. HELLER

Executive Vice President and President of Consumer Care

Merck & Co., Inc.

Bridgette Heller leads the Merck Consumer Care organization, home to a variety of household names, including Dr. Scholl's®, Afrin®, Claritin® and Coppertone®. She also is a member of Merck's Executive Committee, the senior management group that evaluates and makes strategic decisions for the company.

Bridgette joined Merck on March 1, 2010. Prior to that, she served as President of Johnson & Johnson's Baby Global Business Unit since 2007. Ms. Heller was Johnson & Johnson's Global President of their Baby, Kids and Wound Care business unit from 2005-2007.

Before joining Johnson & Johnson, Bridgette was the founder and managing partner of Heller Associates. While leading the management consulting firm, Bridgette provided consumer-centric growth strategies for companies who found themselves outside of the traditional consumer packaged goods arena. Her work at Heller Associates included identifying two new growth platforms for Avon. Earlier in her career, Bridgette was Chief Executive Officer of Chung's Gourmet Foods, where she provided hands-on leadership for the second-largest U.S. egg roll manufacturer.

Ms. Heller also spent 17 years as a leader at Kraft Foods, Inc., with her most recent role being Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Coffee Division. In that role, she oversaw the largest coffee portfolio in the U.S. Ms. Heller also held a variety of management roles at Kraft beginning in 1985.

Bridgette serves on the Board of Directors for The ADT Corporation and has an extensive record of not-for-profit service. She is currently a member of the National Board of Directors for Girl's Incorporated, having previously served as Board Chair; a member of the Executive Leadership Council and a former member of the Advisory Board for the Center for African American Studies at Princeton University. She has been recognized by several organizations, including Advertising Age, Essence and Black Enterprise, for her overall leadership and innovation in Marketing.

Bridgette received an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and received her B.A. from Northwestern University.
