REUNION – ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Friends and Ex LINKs:
Here we are again, it’s been two years since we sent out invitations to our last reunion so it’s time to get together again with old friends and co- workers.
Just over a hundred of us and our spouses made it to the 2011 reunion to relive the good (and the not so good) times we shared and catch up on the latest news. Others still in the workforce networked to find and support each other in job opportunities. It was a great time.
We missed those who were unable to attend the 2011 reunion. We hope you will be with us on this Saturday, October 19.
If you need help in getting to Riderwood or if you can provide transportation please contact one of the committee members listed below.
Food Arrangements: - We are planning the same four hour gathering that will begin at noon. A “Lite” lunch Classic Deli Buffet will be served at 1 PM, complete with deli meats, cheeses, salads, finger desserts, iced tea, and ice water. There will also be a cash bar for mixed drinks, beer, wine and sodas.
Open seating at round tables, 8 places each. This would be a great opportunity to get together again with friends you haven’t seen in a while.
After holding the line at $25 for ten years, the luncheon price is now $28 per person, necessitated by increased facility costs. The very much appreciated donations from our Link alumni and reduced mailing cost through use of email have covered the increases in our cost. The new price is still below our projected cost but we believe we can cover the difference with continued generous donations and some of the balance in our bank account. The continuing yearend balance has been approximately $1,200 since 1997. We will be accepting contributions again this year. Don’t miss out, contribute early.
We need your help to contact as many of our fellow ex Links as possible: If you know of anyone who did not receive an announcement, please give them a copy of your letter, or bring them along and/or have them contact one of the people listed below to be added to our mailing list. Also let us know of anyone who has moved or passed on in the past two years. If you receive your announcement via email you can forward it to anyone on your contact list,
We will need to receive your response by October 4 in order for us to firm up our reservations and ensure that everyone is accommodated. So don’t wait, return your reservation form now.

D i r e c t i o n s
FROM I95 Take exit 29, “Calverton” Rt212/Powder Mill Rd west. Turn right on Cherry Hill Rd. Go 0.7 miles and turn right on Gracefield. The entrance to Riderwood is on your right.
FROM I495 Beltway Take I95 North to the first exit (#29) then Rt212/Powder Mill Rd west
FROM US1 Take Powder Mill Rd to Cherry Hill Rd and turn right, or take Cherry Hill Rd to Powder Mill and proceed for 0.7 miles and turn right on Gracefield Rd.
FROM US29 Turn on to Cherry Hill Rd. At the third light turn left on to Clover Patch Drive. (The Orchard Center Shopping Center will be on the right.) At the end of Clover Patch you will be facing the entrance to Riderwood.
FROM New Hampshire Ave (MD650) Take Randolph Rd east to US29. Here Randolph Rd becomes Cherry Hill Rd.
As you arrive at the gatehouse all you need to do is say that you are here for the Link Reunion. You will be directed to the tennis court parking lot. And the shuttle will be there to take you to Montgomery Station
